Photo update part 2

Picture overload here we go!

You gotta love what a camera flash does to Sam! Look at those eyes! Not to mention look at his drooly shirt! He has been in the drool and eat everything for some time now!

We love face timing daddy before he comes home for dinner! Sam gets super excited when he sees Zach on the little phone screen. It is adorable! The FaceTime technology has actually come in handy quite a bit. Thanks apple! Sometimes Sam will cry for da da da but lights right up when he can see him on the phone. We have also been able to have family scripture over FaceTime when I go up to Orem for dr appointments and such. Super handy.

Photo catch up part 1 (7 months old!)

We have been up to quite a bit lately. Life is never ever boring with little people around! We have gone visiting to nana and papas where we played with cousins. I love the picture with Sam's little angel halo with flowers that cousin Eden insisted on him wearing! So funny! Sam gets a little overwhelmed sometimes with all the girls cousins who adore him! For instance Sam was taking a bath when Leila wanted to join. So in she came. He was a little hesitant but okay. Then in came Eva and Eden because what child wants to be left out of tubby time?! Once all the splashing fun began sam wanted out. And he wanted out immediately ! He is so determined and full of personality. I LOVE it as does his daddy! It has been so fun seeing Sam develop and grow. I don't ever want to forget all his little faces and how his little wiggly body feels. It is hard to remember life with out him !

Baby Friends!

We recently had a wonderful night spent with some of our really great friends that we met at snow college. We had so much fun conversation and shared a few good laughs, ( and good tears). Oh it was rejuvenating. We laugh because we are all so very different in personality and taste but we share come ground on things we are interested and passionate about! It is great having them around especially all together!
We also all had babies close together and for the first time got them all together! It was exciting to see all their little personalities coming out. I have definitely decided that Sam is quite the social, exploring, opinionated little fellow. He is very animated!
We were do grateful we could spend some time with them all!

Smiles and more smiles!

Sam is such a happy little guy. Sometimes I feel like I am going to pop cause he is so adorable ! Aunt Ashley and uncle hunter sent some Kentucky onsies for Sam that he just looks so cute in! Thanks!
We have been going on walks nearly everyday and Sam LOVES riding in the stroller. Zach calls him a little puppy dog cause he stares at the stroller until we go outside on a walk. It has been cold but we bundle him up nice and snug! The other night the three of us went on a walk and after about fifteen minutes Zach noticed sams hat had twirled around. The picture below illustrates it! We were cracking up that he had not even made a peep! So cute. Usually he definitely let's us know when something like that happens!

Little update

Here is what we have been up to. . .
Sam now sits nearly on his own. Yay for bobby's that help him out!
Our good friends Shanae and Aaron moved back to ephraim so we had them over for dinner to catch up. Sam got to play with Lincoln their little guy. It was fun cause Shanae and I both had the same due date! We also both did natural births. We were good friends while we were pregnant and good supports for each other. I do have to say she was very brave and did a home birth. She has an awesome story I love to here her tells about it! We are just so excited to have them close again!
Sam has been such a fun little buddy! He now can also say papa on top of mama and dada. He just simply amazes me!

6 months old!

On Sam's 6 month mark, jan first, he said dada! It is so cute I will post a video soon. He says dada when he wants to play and when he sees Zach. So fun! He started saying mama a few weeks ago whenever he wanted food or comfort. We love that too! He babbles almost non stop. When he is waking up in the morning he starts babbling before his eyes are even open! Love it! He is basically sitting up on his own with the occasional plunge to the side. But for the most part he is doing really well! He is so fun and active. My mon laughs because once he is really crawling or walking she says I am gonna have a run for my money. Let's just say he is really active and adventurous. So fun.
We cherish having this little nugget around. I mean who couldn't? Loll at is little self!

Happy new year!

Sam stayed up till 11:45 for his first new year! I'd say that's pretty good! He hates loud noise so maybe it's best!
We spent the new year with macie, Kj, and Eva with my parents and lydie. We didn't do much in particular, just enjoying each others company. Family time is always a good time.
Sam started doing a new communication thing that when he wants something a whole lot he pumps his arm up and down really fast and breathes really fast. It's super cute.
2011 has been a great year. One of the most fun of my life. If a list could sum it up here it is...

-Sam entered into our lives nice and early July first. Blessing straight from heaven. Can I say that again? Blessing straight from heaven.
-I got to give birth With out an epidural the way I have always dreamed of. And I loved every bit of it.
-Zach got another year of college under his belt. And decided to work towards becoming an English professor. He loves it.
-I survived being pregnant. Nausea for 9 months was pretty rough but oh so worth it. Zach was super husband. I did few if any dishes during that time.
-Zach worked at Sanpete messenger, the county paper. That always kept him on his toes.
- I know there are many eventful things that took place throughout the year but it would take quite some time to document. We are so grateful that our little family became a family of three and that we have such wonderful family and friends around us. It has been a wonderful journey.
2012 here we come!
